BUZZED ABOUT HONEY

The market hosted a special honey pairing event. We partnered with the Sandy Spring Museum to bring a wonderful event featuring amazing honey pairings including honey rum, mead, challah, scones, churros, apples and lots more. A food historian and beekeeper guided us through a delectable feast.

SOMETHING ELECTRIFYING AT THE MARKET

An Electric Car Display! Market goers were treated to the new Chevy Bolt, Ford Lightning Pickup and Tesla Model Y.

A TASTE OF PORTUGAL

Our food vendors offered Portuguese specialty dishes. Our guests include Portuguese Embassy Counselor Henrique Henriques, Gracie Woitering, president of the Portuguese Language Cultural Association in Rockville, and Tiago Torres, the Association’s Secretary. Portugues-inspired music played simultaneously in 4 corners of the market, as occurs in Lisbon. Our guests were impressed with our market.

KIDS IN BIZ

Our kids had a successful and fun time being a vendor for the day. They made and sold homemade items, and learned customer service, making change and being a successful salesperson. Our popular event had another great day!

HOLIDAY MARKET

From Santa Claus to roasted chestnuts, s'mores, special holiday crafts at the kids' tent and holiday music by the Olney Elementary School choir, there were special events galore!  The vendors did not disappoint; produce, fruit, meats and eggs, a plethora of various foods and any type of gift you could want!  A good time was had by all.
