DROP OFF YOUR HOMEMADE SCONES AT THE CHEF’S TENT AT 10:30AM, AND LET THE JUDGING BEGIN. PRIZES WILL BE AWARDED FOR TOP VENDOR AND TOP COMMUNITY BAKER. ALSO A SPECIAL MUSICAL TRIBUTE! OUR OWN JAMES RICCIUTI WILL EMCEE. JUDGES INCLUDE WUSA-TV (AND MARKET METEOROLOGIST) CHRIS LAUDICINA AND NANCY CUMBERBATCH, SCONE AFICIONADO AND OWNER OF DJ THE BAKER.
MUSIC AT THE MARKET The Pat O’Neill Band The Pat O’Neill Band, our House band, was formed in the summer of 2010. They played their first show at a Silver Spring coffee shop called The Coco Moka Cafe and created a following almost immediately. They have delighted audiences around town for years and also play at private parties.
