TAKING A BREAK:  Coop’s Soups, Phil's Dills, Sobar,  Sweet Pea Pastries, Pleitez Produce, Full Circle Farm,  Westmoreland Produce, Harvest Moon, Thomas Evans Produce, and Sandy Spring Gardens are thawing out til Spring.
A FINAL GOODBYE:  Sadly, we lost several vendors and staff members this year.  They include Stanton Gill (MacBride & Gill Falcon Ridge Farm), Frank Mullen (former Market Treasurer), Ruth Thompson (Rare Opportunity Bake Shop) and Sarah Whitson (Whitson's Pickles).
THE YEAR IN REVIEW:  The state of Maryland chose our Market to host its annual celebrity Chef competition! The Washington Post featured our Market and Olney in a wide-ranging article, highlighting Coop's Soups;  Chef Susan Belsinger teamed up with Davis Highlands farm for an outstanding Chef demo.  The star ingredient was Walker's mushrooms.  We also hosted our first ever Peach Festival.   The Market started accepting SNAP this season.
Last but not least, we want to thank Medstar Montgomery Hospital for allowing us to use their beautiful property.  We're also grateful to our team of outstanding student workers. They include Ethan, Charles, Jeremy, Chris, Isira, Olivia and Austin.  Our managers include Katherine, Sandy (VP), Nadine,  Hal, Greg, Tracy, Bobbi and Maritza.  Our wonderful pro-bono attorney is Gary Marx.

Are you looking for delicious gluten-free food?  Try WAYCUPS GOURMET or LOUIE'S SWEETS.  Treats include fudge brownies. Also ask Eugenia from Waycups about her Romanian potato salad!
BREAD AND CUPCAKES offers delicious homemade breads, along with one-of-a-kind pastries with a Polish twist.
We also welcome our new Banana Bread vendor Ryan Barron, owner of Patty's Bake Sale.  A portion of the proceeds go to charity.

Special thanks to all those who helped make the Holiday Market a smashing success! They include: STICKY G AND COOKIE YAY’S YUSEF BATTLE, Pacha Mama's Woody, our wonderful Cub Scout troop volunteers, Sandy Tucker, Katherine Farquhar, Nadine Mort, Greg Coxson, Doug Terry, Lenny Rosenbaum, Nancy Wert, Tracy Clare, Bobbi Espinoza, Charles Lewis, Nicholas Boss, Woody, and our wonderful students from Sherwood and Blake High Schools. Also special thanks to Michael Coxson and his friends, Jacob and Eldad.

NO UNAPPROVED SOLICITATIONS PLEASE, either on the Market site or in our parking lots.

PARKING IS ALWAYS FREE! There are 2 main lots, one outside the professional buildings on 108; the other opposite the Thrift Shop on Prince Philip.

SPECIAL DECEMBER LAYOUT:  Some of our vendors have moved temporarily, while the Lions Club sells its Christmas trees near 108.  This is for the safety of both our customers and vendors.  Come to the Info booth, if you're looking for a specific vendor.

NO PETS PLEASE!

DONATIONS WELCOME!   Please consider a donation to our 501-C-3, Friends of the Olney Farmers Market.  For months, before our SNAP program started, the Market provided vouchers for fresh produce to those in need.  It would be great to replenish our fund.  We also need funds to support our music program, our special events like our Peach festival,  and our Children's tent.
Checks can be mailed to PO Box 1787, Olney, MD 20830. We also accept donations at our Info tent.  You may also use the Donate button under 'donors'.
