YES, WE ARE OPEN AS USUAL THIS SUNDAY!  WE’VE STILL GOT PLENTY OF FABULOUS PRODUCE, ALONG WITH ONE OF A KIND HANDMADE CRAFTS AND JEWELRY.  OUR HOURS ARE THE SAME, 9 TO 1.  DON’T FORGET ON DECEMBER 7TH, WE’LL HAVE SPECIAL HOURS, 11 TO 2, TO ACCOMMODATE SANTA’S ARRIVAL.  NOW HERE ARE DETAILS:

COUNTDOWN TO OUR DECEMBER 7TH HOLIDAY MARKET:
Keep in mind, this is the one day our hours change:  from 11 to 2.  Yes, we’ll still welcome early birds, but the main attractions will start at 11am.  Santa will make an appearance sometime after that. We’ll have holiday music by the one and only Sticky G. Also look for a special 'Sweeten Your Chanukah' event. Come visit Chabad’s Kosher pop-up on December 7th to pick up unique chocolate gifts. Plus, they’ve expanded their shop to include tons of Chanukah gear and festive items! Pre-orders for the chocolate gifts end on November 30th!

You’ll find all kinds of fabulous handmade gifts, ranging from cutting boards to stained glass to aprons to decorative plants for your holiday table. We’ll have a special layout on December 7th.  Many of our vendors, including Zeke’s Coffee, Dangerously Delicious Pies, La Table du Chateau and the Italian Pasta Shop will be on the grass. Special thanks to Medstar Montgomery hospital for our continuing partnership.  We are so appreciative of all you do to contribute to our success.  We’re excited about plans to install an Amish shed with heating and air conditioning.  We’re anxiously waiting for a permit to start work.
ATTENTION VENDORS! Holiday Market fees are due in advance.  Please look for Nicholas, our treasurer, to make payment.  Also, a SAFETY REMINDER: vendors must NOT move their vehicles until 1pm.  This is so we can safely clear out children first.  In an emergency, come to the Info booth.

FOOD SCRAPS:  As part of a Montgomery County-sponsored pilot, Compost Cab will accept food scraps 
from our customers. Look for their tent in the rear of the Market. You may drop off:

• Fruit and Vegetable scraps
• Cooked Food
• Meat, fish bones
  
• Dairy (cheese and yogurt)
• Eggshells
• Bread & Grains
• Coffee Grounds & Tea Leaves (remove all filters)

PARKING IS ALWAYS FREE! (For Winter, vendors may leave at 1 instead of 1:10) There are 2 main lots, one outside the professional buildings on 108; the other opposite the Thrift Shop on Prince Philip.

DONATIONS WELCOME!   Please consider a donation to our 501-C-3, Friends of the Olney Farmers Market.  The Market provides vouchers for fresh produce to those in need.  This season, we’ve given out more vouchers than ever before. It would be great to replenish our fund.  We also need funds to support our music program and our children's tent.
Checks can be mailed to PO Box 1787, Olney, MD 20830. We also accept donations at our Info tent.
