We’re so sad to hear Marti Andress, our longtime jeweler and artist, is moving away. We wish her the very best, as she begins a new chapter in Vermont. SPRINGTIME EVENTS: It’s likely to be the hottest springtime event in town, and this year, it’s part of Olney Days. The Market hosts its first ever Potato Day on Sunday, April 26th. For children, look for hot potato games and potato sack races. For adults, we’ll have cooking competitions for vendors and the community. The event will be emceed by the one and only James Riciutti. Other events include a Strawberry Tasting and chef’s demo; a Peach Festival, a Mushroom demo, a Pie Competition, a Brownie competition and 2 Kids in Biz days. MAY 10TH: GRAND REOPENING OF OUR SPRING SEASON. It’ll be a special day for Moms. Snap up one of our Red Envelopes at the Info booth before Mother’s Day. The cost is just $20, a donation to our non-profit. Don’t open the envelope until you return to the Market on Mother’s Day. Then, look for a manager to unlock your Mom’s special surprise gift. Gifts range from fabulous handmade jewelry and pottery to gift cards, all worth more than $20. Special thanks to Nancy Wert for organizing the event. Don't forget!
