GRAB ‘N GO! IT’LL BE A GRAB ‘N GO MARKET LIKE LAST SUNDAY. PARK JUST OUTSIDE THE 108 DRIVEWAY OR JUST INSIDE THE PRINCE PHILIP DRIVEWAY ENTRANCE. THIS IS WHERE MOST VENDORS WILL BE LOCATED. THEN GRAB WHAT YOU NEED AND DRIVE OFF SAFELY! PLEASE DO NOT PARK AT THE PROFESSIONAL BUILDINGS, AND WALK ACROSS THE SNOW AND ICE. IT IS NOT SAFE! VENDORS EXPECTED THIS SUNDAY: Sweet Tea & Cornbread, Tee Cee’s Boutique, W Shawl Studio, Orchard Breeze Meat farm, Living Lettuce, Zeke’s Coffee, Dangerously Delicious Pies, Sharper Than Ever (knife sharpening - pick up and drop off only), Dimitri’s Olive Oil, Sides BBQ, DMV Empanadas, Stone Hearth Bakery, Manchester Mushroom Farm (including eggs), the Italian Pasta Shop, and our Food Scraps vendor. We’re partnering with Olney Days for the first time for a special potato celebration. There will be potato sack races and potato head decorating for children. Our own Stuffed Potato, the Crepe Shoppe and other food vendors will be battling it out for prizes for the best potato-based creation. We’re also inviting the community to bring their prized homemade potato dishes to our Chef’s tent at 11AM for judging. Other events include a Strawberry Tasting and chef’s demo, a Peach Festival, a Pie Competition and 2 Kids in Biz days. Our live music starts Mother’s Day. MAY 10TH: GRAND REOPENING OF OUR SPRING SEASON. We invite you to celebrate your Mom on Mother’s Day. It’ll be a day full of surprises. Just look for volunteers with Red Envelopes. SOMETHING NEW: The Olney Farmers and Artists Market Newsletter will soon accept a limited amount of advertising. We’ll offer special rates for non-profits. VENDOR ADVISORY COMMITTEE MEETING: A reminder that our first meeting is tonight at 6:30pm at Lib’s Grill in Maple Lawn. VENDOR ALERT! A reminder that all vendors are required to have weights of at least 25 lbs per leg, no exceptions! In the event of strong winds, you will be asked to take down your tent. This is for everyone’s safety. Anyone who refuses to comply will be subject to termination. We just can’t take any chances. Thank you. SNAP: Yes, we take SNAP. LOST AND FOUND: Has anyone seen a 25-foot yellow extension cord that was left on our site last Sunday? Please email [email protected], if you have it. It belongs to our knife sharpener. PARKING IS ALWAYS FREE! (For Winter, vendors may leave at 1 instead of 1:10) There are 2 main lots, one outside the professional buildings on 108; the other opposite the Thrift Shop on Prince Philip. NO PETS PLEASE! DONATIONS WELCOME! Please consider a donation to our 501-C-3, Friends of the Olney Farmers Market. The Market provides vouchers for fresh produce to those in need. This season, we’ve given out more vouchers than ever before. It would be great to replenish our fund. We also need funds to support our music program and our children's tent. Checks can be mailed to PO Box 1787, Olney, MD 20830. We also accept donations at our Info tent. THANK YOU!! ***Customers: Please do NOT remove barricades at our entrances and exits.
