Be sure to check in with a Manager before setting up. And no driving across the Market green without permission. Also, don’t forget our Mother’s Day layout will be different than our Spring layout. Your Mother’s day spot will be assigned soon. Also, starting May 10th, no moving your vehicle until 1:10pm, so we can safely clear out children on the site. AND THE WINNERS ARE: STUFFED POTATO (grand prize) and DANGEROUSLY DELICIOUS PIES (2nd place)! They won the Vendor Potato Day competition. The grand prize was a $50. Market Shopping spree. It’ll be a special day for Moms. Snap up a Red Envelope at the Info booth or on our website (olneyfarmersmarket.com) before Mother’s Day. The cost is just $20, a donation to our non-profit. Don’t open the envelope until you return to the Market on Mother’s Day. Then, look for a manager to unlock your special surprise gift. Gifts range from fabulous handmade jewelry and pottery to gift cards, all worth more than $20. Special thanks to Nancy Wert, Robin Thomas and Nadine Wort for organizing the event. Starting on May 17th: Join us at The Olney Farmers Market each Sunday at 10am for community yoga! This is an all levels class adaptable for every body and all levels. We will be in front of the Thrift Shop in the wide open field. All are welcome and class is free as sponsored by Medstar Health! Come get your veggies, do your yoga, & see your community! It’s a chance for them to learn about good customer service and to count change. All items must be handmade or homemade under adult supervision. Bring a small table and chair. There are 2 main lots, one outside the professional buildings on 108; the other opposite the Thrift Shop on Prince Philip. NO PETS PLEASE! DONATIONS WELCOME! Please consider a donation to our 501-C-3, Friends of the Olney Farmers Market. The Market provides vouchers for fresh produce to those in need. This season, we’ve given out more vouchers than ever before. It would be great to replenish our fund. We also need funds to support our music program and our children's tent.
