HELPING FEDERAL WORKERS:  Come to the grassy middle,  and ask for Janet.  We are offering free breakfast to those in need (up to $10.)   This is until the money runs out.

IT’S OLNEY MATH! Attention students!  Stop by our It’s Olney Math tent; be the first to solve the puzzle; and win $35!
ATTENTION VENDORS!  Winter Applications are now online at olneyfarmersmarket.com   The new season starts the second Sunday in November. Also a SAFETY REMINDER: vendors must NOT move their vehicles until 1:10pm.  This is so we can safely clear out children first.  In an emergency, come to the Info booth. Also, our vendor party is this Sunday, starting  at 1:15.  Bring something delicious! Market will provide Carl’s sausage, lasagna and Caprese.
OUR HOLIDAY MARKET is set for the first Sunday in December.  A reminder that our HOURS CHANGE FOR THIS ONE DAY ONLY: 11A to 2 PM to accommodate Santa’s schedule.  Vendor Market fees are due in advance.  Look for a hot chocolate bar, along with smores and chestnuts roasting on an open fire. Dozens of food vendors, crafters and farmers have already signed up to participate.  You’ll be able to shop til your drop for one of a kind, handmade items. And we’ll keep you warm!

FOOD SCRAPS:
As part of a Montgomery County-sponsored pilot, Compost Cab will accept food scraps from our customers. Look for their tent in the rear of the Market. You may drop off:

DONATIONS WELCOME!   Please consider a donation to our 501-C-3, Friends of the Olney Farmers Market.  The Market provides vouchers for fresh produce to those in need.  This season, we’ve given out more vouchers than ever before. It would be great to replenish our fund.  We also need funds to support our music program and our children's tent.
Checks can be mailed to PO Box 1787, Olney, MD 20830. We also accept donations at our Info tent.  You may also use the Donate button at the top of this newsletter.

THANK YOU!!
***Customers:  Please do NOT remove barricades at our entrances and exits.  These are meant to keep all of us safe.
In the event of dangerous weather conditions, we'll post our decision on whether to close on our website, olneyfarmersmarket.com and on Facebook.
NO PETS!  We ask that you leave your pets at home.  We allow service animals only.
