ROCK CREEK STRINGS is billed as the DC area’s most versatile string quartet.  Their music offers a wide variety of genres, from classical to jazz and from pop to rock, even Bollywood.

FREE YOGA: from 10-11am on the Thrift Shop Grass. Thanks to Uplift Yoga and Medstar Montgomery for their sponsorship.  Don’t forget to bring your yoga mat! Classes will be held every Sunday, now through October.  While there is no charge to attend, pre-registration is required.

CONSTITUENT SERVICES:  If you’ve got questions, Montgomery County Councilman Evan Glass has answers.  Stop by his booth near the Info tent before 11AM.

PEACH FESTIVAL:  Councilman Glass moves to the Chef’s tent at 11AM.  He’ll be a judge at our annual Peach Festival. The event features a Chef’s demo by our own James Ricciuti. Then, sample our Farmers’ peaches, and vote for the top peach farmer.  Food vendors and Crafters will also be facing off.  And there will also be something Peachy in the Kids’ tent.
 
IT’S OLNEY MATH!
There will be puzzles, Mega Chess, the Soma Cube.  Come try your hand at determining the direction a bicycle is traveling just by looking at its tracks.  As always, there will be a Math challenge for 6th to 12th graders; the first to solve it will get a nice reward.

Compost Cab will accept food scraps 
from our customers.
Look for their tent in the rear of the Market.

PARKING IS ALWAYS FREE! There are 2 main lots, one outside the professional buildings on 108; the other opposite the Thrift Shop on Prince Philip.

DONATIONS WELCOME!   Please consider a donation to our 501-C-3, Friends of the Olney Farmers Market.  The Market provides vouchers for fresh produce to those in need.  This season, we’ve given out more vouchers than ever before. It would be great to replenish our fund.  We also need funds to support our music program and our children's tent.
Checks can be mailed to PO Box 1787, Olney, MD 20830. We also accept donations at our Info tent. 


 ***Customers:  Please do NOT remove barricades at our entrances and exits.  These are meant to keep all of us safe.
