This is an all levels class adaptable for everybody.  We will be in front of the Thrift Shop in the wide open field.  All are welcome and class is free as sponsored by Medstar Health!  Come get your veggies, do your yoga, & see your community!

Please bring your own mat or beach towel.  Please be courteous and only sign up to hold the spot if you know you can be there.  Class is free but pre-registration is required.

The Movie is ‘Encanto’, perfect for families.  Enjoy delicious Market cuisine, and shop among our juried Crafters; then enjoy the movie.  Anyone in need should come to the Info tent for a discount coupon. 

IT'S OLNEY MATH
Look for Greg’s tent along the 108 corridor.  If you’re a teen, this is your chance to win $35. by solving the Math puzzle.  Greg offers a tent full of inspiration for both Math lovers and those not so fond of the subject.  And coming up on August 30th, our second MARKET CHESS TOURNAMENT.  Ask for Greg for details….

SPECIAL MEDSTAR CRAFTS TENT:  It’s a first for Medstar Montgomery at the Market. They will be selling simple handmade crafts this Sunday.  Any funds raised will be donated directly back to the hospital.

SPECIAL POP-UP TENTS:  The Stress Doc is back! The author of ‘Where’s Charlotte’, Mark Gorkin, a licensed social worker, will be here.  Plus the Montgomery County Citizen 
Academy Alumni Association is expected.  And if you have questions about Maryland’s EZ Pass program, the people in charge will have answers. 
Also, Jessica Walcott launches Next Chapter Collective, a mobile bookstore, on the Market green.

VENDOR ALERT!   A reminder that all vendors are required to have weights of at least 25 pounds per leg, no exceptions!  In the event of strong winds, you will be asked to take down your tent.  This is for everyone’s safety.  Anyone who refuses to comply will be subject to termination.  We just can’t take any chances.  Thank you.

SNAP:  Yes, we take SNAP.  This week, ask for Charles at the Info tent, located on the Market Green.
ATTENTION VENDORS!   We ask that you not play music at your tents, while the band is playing.  It’s fine to play music during set up or when the band is on a break.  Thanks for your cooperation!  Also, a reminder that vendors should NOT "hawk their wares”.  We want Sunday to be a laid-back day for everyone.
FOOD SCRAPS:  As part of a Montgomery County-sponsored pilot, Compost Cab will accept food scraps 
from our customers. Look for their tent in the rear of the Market. You may drop off:

• Fruit and Vegetable scraps
• Cooked Food
• Meat, fish bones
• Dairy (cheese and yogurt)
• Eggshells
• Bread & Grains
• Coffee Grounds & Tea Leaves (remove all filters)

 
PARKING IS ALWAYS FREE!   Vendors are asked to stay until 1:10pm.  There are 2 main lots, one outside the professional buildings on 108; the other opposite the Thrift Shop on Prince Philip.

DONATIONS WELCOME!   Please consider a donation to our 501-C-3, Friends of the Olney Farmers Market.  The Market provides vouchers for fresh produce to those in need.  This season, we’ve given out more vouchers than ever before. It would be great to replenish our fund.  We also need funds to support our music program and our children's tent.
