WHAT’S ALL THE BUZZ ABOUT FARMER LEE?   YIA YIA MARIKA HAS THE CHICKEN!  FIND OUT WHY SHE IS OLNEY AWESOME! AND FREE CPR AT 11. THOSE ARE SOME OF THE HIGHLIGHTS FOR THIS SUNDAY. NOW HERE ARE DETAILS:

WHAT’S AT THE MARKET?  Sweet corn, local honey, peaches, blueberries, melon, raspberries, ground beef, sausage, poultry, steak, butter, eggs, crepes, breakfast burritos, Peruvian stuffed potatoes, Greek olive oil, olives, Greek pastries (Bargain of the day), Vietnamese chicken skewers, banh mi, Romanian pastries, stuffed cabbage, potato salad, pita and hummus, gyro sandwiches, vegan gelato, gluten-free pastries, pickles, pizza, homemade bread, croissant sandwiches, croque monsieurs, homemade tuna salad, chicken salad, croissants, Danish, coffee, microgreens, local mushrooms, radishes, broccoli, red and white potatoes, garlic scapes, onions, asparagus, cucumbers, kale, peppers, carrots, freshly cut flowers and plants, predatory plants and lots more…

OLNEY AWESOME BARGAIN OF THE DAY:  If you like Greek pastries, this Sunday is the day to snap up an Olney Awesome bargain.  Look for the chicken  at Yia Yia Marika’s booth, next to our olive oil stand.  Ask Marika what mouth-watering menu item is Olney Awesome, and help spread the word!

MUSIC AT THE MARKET: SANDRA DEAN
The Sandra Dean Band combines gutsy guitar solos, revved up bass guitar, fervent drums, heartfelt keyboard, and Sandra Dean's one-of-a-kind soulful, rock-n-roll voice. The Sandra Dean Band brings the house down with fresh interpretations of Classic Rock, Blues, and Soul music. 
Music starts at 10 am.

FREE CPR AT 11:   Learn how to save a life this Sunday.  The Sandy Spring Fire Department will be on hand to teach CPR.  Class will start, as soon as the music stops.

FOOD SCRAPS: As part of a Montgomery County-sponsored pilot, 
Compost Cab will accept food scraps 
from our customers.
Look for their tent in the rear of the Market.

Coffee Grounds & Tea Leaves (remove all filters)


PARKING IS ALWAYS FREE! There are 2 main lots, one outside the professional buildings on 108; the other opposite the Thrift Shop on Prince Philip.

DONATIONS WELCOME!   Please consider a donation to our 501-C-3, Friends of the Olney Farmers Market.  The Market provides vouchers for fresh produce to those in need.  This season, we’ve given out more vouchers than ever before. It would be great to replenish our fund.  We also need funds to support our music program and our children's tent. Checks can be mailed to PO Box 1787, Olney, MD 20830. We also accept donations at our Info tent.  You may also use the Donate button at the top of this newsletter.
